Book is 80 on an 8.

Just remember buy the card not the grade. If you can get a good deal go for it.

Case in point

With that edge, no way it's a 9.

I like the work Shawn Gates does here but IMO this site could use a good regular vintage card collector blogger.

Just an IMO.

It can be core tested 365/24/7 or....
That's why I have testers taking cylinders on state job sites every pour we do.
They break the cylinders at specific dates and they see what psi the concrete has "broken at".
But when it comes to just a home owner knowing, be sure to ask for concrete ticket receipts as well.
The tickets will tell you what psi was used on your job.

I am so sad I missed this conversation. . I could add much more but for the layman you covered it significantly.

I'm hoping this won't prompt the bloviator - but Hamlin Beach is nearly 25 miles west of Lake Avenue.

COULD SABRES TRADE ZADOROV IN DEAL FOR O'REILLY?
TheFourthPeriod.com
The Sabres scratched young defenseman Nikita Zadorov from the lineup on Sunday, prompting speculation that he could be on his way out of Buffalo.
Zadorov, 19, was believed to have been reprimanded for showing up late Sunday morning and was taken out of the lineup for Sunday night's game.

Regardless of the reasoning, the Sabres are reportedly toying with the idea of packaging him in a trade.
According to the Buffalo News, the Sabres are tremendously interested in Colorado Avalanche center Ryan O'Reilly and could package Zadorov and young center Mikhail Grigorenko for him.

Grigorenko played for Avalanche head coach Patrick Roy while he was the bench boss of the Quebec Remparts of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

While the News notes that Zadorov has been a "non-starter" in any trade talks with other clubs, not actions this season could force Sabres GM Tim Murray to make a move.

Murray basically shot down any ROR talk in his interview yesterday on hockey hotline. Take that for what it's worth.

Murray can take his "10 minute I spoke and he just listened bumhole speech" and shove it.
That's not how you deal with young kids.
And this is just one reason why I know Murray is going to fail.
His I am the best ego (for no reason at all whatsoever) will be his downfall as well.
Accomplish something first before you come off as some kind know it all.
Hell I was loaned out to another company for 75,000 big ones for 5 months, that's when TALK, not until then!
The only thing Murray does for me is play the fool the more and more he speaks.
Murray for me = #Iamnerdhearmeroar

To be fair the City of Rochester threw a ton of money at a remake of the "Port of Rochester" about 10 years ago, and there is a restaurant called Mr Dominincs down there. MrDom's is a place a lot of beady eyed douchebags like quite a bit, but most don't take their wives there, just their side chicks.

EDIT: come to think of it, MrDoms is across the street from the place where Vanek got in deep with the bookies. That gives everyone the true flavor.

i didn't read the whole thing.. i just saw a contractor trying to explain concrete.. i laughed.. he didn't say anything "wrong" but left out many important factors. the quality and longevity of concrete is based upon basically 3-4 things and he touched on one portion of those things.. In my personal experience the biggest problem with concrete is quality of workmanship.. take it or leave it, but i do deal with concrete construction and post construction failure on a daily basis.

When you finally realize that being loaned out (dishing out) for 75k and paying my salary for 5 months 12 years ago is a big thing maybe then I will take you seriously.
Go down to Lake avenue in Rochester right by Hamelin beach, with 85,000 sq. feet of stamp work.
7 different stamp patterns on the site, bridge decks with a a 12" x 12" tile pattern laid on a 45 degree angle to the curb line with various integral concrete colors and hand tossed and applied color hardeners, bus stop pads stamped with a 4" granite tile pattern, 8' wide sidewalks stamped with a herringbone brick pattern, all corners stamped with a grand ashlar slate pattern, medians stamped with a Belgian running bond brick pattern that I began laying parallel to the curb line until I showed the DOT EIC what that was going to look like and then they changed to my idea which was laying that pattern perpendicular to the curb line in the median and while in that 5 month period I did every single bit of finishing and stamping with a 4 man crew.
You can say anything you want, but honestly ,ignorantly know nothing of what you speak.
Back then there was only one guy for that job, and that was me.

- BuffaloHardHat

I engineered that job. You worked for me.
