If we are truly going after ROR. Who let's be serious is no better then a mid level 2nd line center AT BEST. We shouldn't be giving up a first. I'd rather sign Vermette then trade a first for this guy. The most I'd give up is Ruhwedel, 2nd and a prospect like Baptiste.

From everything I read about Carrier - prior to him playing in the AHL this year - was that he was a hard working player willing to get his nose dirty and fight for pucks.

Is this not the case? Could it be "rookie-itis"?

It very well could be but from what i've seen if he's not playing with the top 6 he's invisible. That's another issue with the amerks is that their forwards arent super physical.

Was thinking the whole team in general. We have Ennis and Kane (next yr) Hope next year we shall see some players take off and score regularly. Team lacks it big time.

Take the top 10 goal scorers and judge their 2 way play.
