you should know better, Murray likes dial tones
- SABRES 89

i think i do. I dont know what murray thinks about zadorov though. I love the kid, i suspect murray does too, but for all i know they could have decided hes a box of rocks that doesnt respond to coaching.

As long as we don't give it away I'm fine with that. We over paid in the Kane/Myers deal. Lemieux could be huge for them down the road and who know what the Sabres via the Blues first pick will bring the Jets.
- lulags

We actually didn't overpay in the Myers deal, Armia was never going to play here, he was an asset to Murray and that's all, same with Lemiuex, he wasn't playing here either. Stafford was done here, we got a good deal.

I agree. He's not fast, and Murray's mantra of being "tough to play against" doesn't seem to fit Grigorenko's style of play...
I could def see Murray using him as a chip in whatever trade he may make

- jdfitz77

I think Roy can fix Gringo, I don't think Murray wants any part of.

This... and I'm still waiting to see Grigorenko tear it up, when healthy, in the AHL in his 3rd pro year. 30 pts in 37 games, meh
- GilPerreault11

Next year will be his 2nd complete pro year.

Our team is young enough where we are gonna have time before we have to shell out big contracts.

I think Murray is smart enough to get the right deal but why would the AVS deal ROR now when they can have teams like the Leafs over a barrel? but then again, Murray might feel that ROR is the best available for the next couple years out of the players that will become FA's
- SABRES 89

I'm assuming Murray sees what I see in Oreilly, a really good 2way player
Getting a guy like him would be great
The amout it would cost to trade for him & the risk of his walking are too great for me though
If (when) he becomes UFA I would revisit it

Didnt we used to have Roy's son in our pipeline as well?
Or am i just thinking that because he and Gringo were on the same line in juniors?

Our 2nd round pick will be at the top of the round, close to the first round. I'm sure TM has that in mind if he deals the other 1st round.

I dont believe we can trade the other first round pick until we know where the picks are actually placed. This is due to the fact that both are currently being held up in the Jets trade, since it was a conditional pick. I do not believe you are allowed to make a conditional conditional(yes there is suppose to be two conditionals there) trade.

I haven't seen McCabe play in Rochester so I'd have to take your word for it but I think Pysyk is developed more, passes well and has a strong shot.

I don't think it matters where they slot the other 1st, just offering another 1st to some other team get's them to listen.

Yes we did as a FA I think who played with Rochester a couple years ago, forward.

The younger Roy looks and sounds like Patrick Roy, an all-time great who won four Stanley Cups with Montreal and Colorado from 1985 to 2003. His spunk and tenacity are legendary.Clearly, the father molded his son to play like him.“He just taught me one way to play the game, and it’s the hard way, 100 percent every time I step foot on that ice,” said Frederick Roy, who called his father his role model. “I give my heart and soul to the team I’m playing with.”
