I was told Murray won't take any S$$T from anyone and not one GM in the league will get one over on him, some might not like Murray's deals ( KANE, MYERS) but if Murray wants the deal and it makes the Sabres better for the future, he will do it.

I dont hate going after ror. So long as its a quantity trade. Gotta figure grigorenko is going, hes still not a sure thing and next years gonna be tricky with the whole waivers thing. Would probably make sense to make sure we pick one or two first though. Figure if eichel and reinhart are here theres no spot for him, and it wouldnt be fair to jam him on the wing up here to learn on the job. Sending him to rochester to start the year to play wing would be jerking him around- again.

Ive seen that offer a few places. If they counter with ristolainen or zadorov, its dead in the water. Grigorenko, pysyk, and a late first is the type of quantity for quality deal that i want him to make. That he has to make. and if ror is gonna cost more than that, let somebody else pay it.

Not sure, nothing you are willing to give up probably, pysyk is a fringe NHL dman right now and Avs already have the same in Siemens. Fan base wise we would never come to a fair deal haha

I don't think trading for O'Reilly is a good idea
He'll cost a lot, and I think he really wants to be a UFA & see what the top offer will be
Even if we could extend him, it'll likely cost more than he's worth
And I like O'Reilly a lot as a player
I'd rather we just wait & try to get him as a free agent if Murray really wants him

Can't sign him to an extension till the season is over
We're pretty deep a forward, I wouldn't wanna trade a defenseman for one
I really think O'Reilly wants to get to UFA status & see what kind of offers he gets
I'd rather wait till then so we don't have to give anything up for him
