should have said nothing.... that would get Sather smacked... 2nd, 3rd, McIlrath, and Kristo might start the conversation... Vermette is going to go for more than he should. some idiot GM is going to pull the trigger on a rediculous trade.

what would be more valuable to AZ is if Sather told their GM that the rangers would draft for them the next few years... haha

I fail to see how the package you listed is much better than the one I listed.

Kristo is a bust. McIlrath holds little to no value. Tambellini was a 3rd round pick but if the draft were to be redone today, he likely goes late 1st or early 2nd.

I dont think Tambellini is as close as McIlrath. you may be right. TBH, i dont want Vermette for that exact reason. he is going to cost too much.

I want Stewart. 2nd and McIlrath should do it.

So basically we have a 1st year center in Hayes who has been doing incredible. Big guy, with great vision, great defensive skills. Only issue is he isn't to good on face offs. So we want to replace this 1st year prototypical center, with a much higher paid, older version.
(frank) you guys, I hate you all.

- mdw7413

We actually have stated that Hayes play can allow the Rangers to focus on getting wing depth or depth on defense. Sooo

Tambellini has 40 goals and 68 points in 56 games this year. Kid is a great prospect and should entice an offensively challenged Arizona team.

Arizona wants a 1st and a good prospect. They will likely settle for something lower, like a 2nd and a good prospect. Like a 2nd and Tambellini.

Mcilrath is almost useless to Buffalo. Ristolainen, Zadorov, McCabe, Pysyk and Bogosian are all better players at this point compared to Mcilrath.

Idk about that, he is 20 playing against kids that are ages 16-18. He also had to spend some time in the BCHL and North Dakota before joining the Hitmen.

True, but I still think he's a very good prospect.

Agreed, I watched him quite a bit in the BCHL and he wasn't impressive, I actually was surprised he was drafted as high as he was. Lots of second assists and points in the tail end of high scoring games. He couldn't make an impact at UND and left, which was better for his development but says a bit about how far away he is

The assists may be true. But he did score 63 goals in 107 BCHL games. That's good for a .59 goals per game clip. Do I think he'll be an NHL player, maybe. But he did do well in the BCHL. I think if he does make the NHL he'll top out as CURRENT version of Jarret Stoll.

Kevin Hart has a nice little part in it too. Overall that movie is just very funny.

Yes, I didn't see all his games, but when I did he scored the 5 or 6 goals of a 6-1 final (not that there is anything wrong with that). He was definitely a good BCHL player, but I just think he was overrated as a Jr. A player heading into the draft against Major Jr players

I do agree with your future NHL assessment. He wont be elite but could be serviceable in bottom 6 and possible PP2, depends on how he adjusts his style as he moves levels

I really don't get it. At all.

I mean, Corsi makes sense, and it measures things, but it doesn't measure EVERYTHING. It's one stat. Gotta look at the whole picture.

The player comparison charts at War on Ice make a lot more sense because they compare zone starts, quality of competition, AND Corsi... which still leaves you to make a judgement call.

It's hilarious. He wrote a novel dissecting like 5 different stats and then at the end basically says "well all that is irrelevant. Kopitar because corsi."

It's kinda obvious. He's out of Calgary for sure. Idk why. Team right in the middle of a playoff hunt could use him.

I wonder if the Flames take in a lot of Hitmen games? Just take Tambo for GlenX.

I'd even be ok if the Rangers threw in Tampa's 2nd as sweetener.
