This roster might look significantly different between now, the trade deadline, and the draft.

I'm not sure I want any of the established coaches who are out there as the next Flyers head coach. I definitely don't want Disco Dan or Coach Tortellini at the helm.

I know people like to pile on Berube, but he's the least of this team's problems. They just don't have enough talent, period.

This regulation loss and a Panthers win really hurts. They're now up two points with two less games played. They'll probably be buying at the deadline as well. Ottawa not all that far back either.

Not much room left for error at all. Pretty much every game against an Eastern team is a must win(in regulation at that).

Well, from what I remember about rooting for a team that was supposed to do damage in the playoffs, I do know that you don't want them peaking now.

You also don't want significant injuries now.

poopty losses happen and I'm sure this one sucks, but your team just needs to collect points and stay healthy.

In about a month, I'll be depending on people here to tell me about 18 YO Canadian kids I never heard of before to help me rationalize my season ticket spend.

You also don't want significant injuries now.

i can deal with losses. i know this is hard. its just how it routinely happens. that team simply doesnt have it right now. maybe they flounder into the playoffs and then finally have a fire under their ass, but until then, they pretty much deserve to lose. from 87 and 71 on down.

ill tell you what. his dirty streak is back right along with it, but OV is back in a big way. has a fire in him that i havent seen in a few years. to me, he deserves the Hart as of right now.

I don't remember the early 90's Pens winning until they got Ronnie Francis, who was already an experienced leader of a poopty franchise.

This Pens team needs their Ron Francis deal. Jim Rutherford should be judged on what he does at the deadline, because I can't imagine Mario views him as a long term solution in the front office. Actually, I assume he's a Mario cipher.

love 87, but he needs to man up. im not even talking about the leadership aspects. i get it. if youre not a rah rah kind of guy, thats fine. dont force it. but his on ice production right now simply isnt what it needs to be.
