Yeah, they have holes and flaws. But I don't understand how they just don't find ways to be consistent with their effort

I'm not a "try hard" guy. That's overrated on an individual basis, usually

But damned if I can figure out how, for years now, this team just can't seem to play entire games with an effort that is above the bar

They do it so sporadically, it's really frustrating
