What if were in last by 6pts, but if we tie the Oil we lose the position, then we WIN our last three , two in Shootouts and Oil lose there last three! What would happen??????

You know, I never realized he was pretty much a .5ppg player his whole career until you mentioned that and I looked it up. Wow. Even in Buffalo he put up decent numbers.

Numminen very quietly had a very good career. I can see the same type of career from Pysyk. He's got a lot of tools in his tool box and he uses them well, but very much flys under the radar.

Pysyk plays the same kind of puck anticipation game. He's not a puck chaser, which is where a lot of the similarities between him and Numminen come from.

Only the beady eyed weasel engineer/architect Tim Murray could permit that hypothetical to become reality, and if it did, we could count on HardHat's company to fix things in the field so that everything would work properly.

Honestly, I look at this roster and I think to myself, Neuvirth can stand on his head every night, and we'll still lose 18 games.

All the guys at work come to me looking for answers about the season and the future, and I'm cautiously confident we'll stay in 30th. Almost an oxymoron, but it's like seeing a high jack straight flush on the river.. not much gonna beat that, but if it happens..the extremely rare chance it happens.. you're destroyed.

He probably clubbed Gorges in the knee or something. Decided that things were getting too close for comfort. Time to take out a guy that cares and wants to win.

But then he might start to think that that his view from the ground level showed him that this wasn't the morally correct thing to do, plus it might put Darcy in a better light so he decides at the very last minute to pull his plan

I wouldnt be opposed to throw an offer towards keith yandle this summer. Put him and Bogo on the top pair. He's a monster on the PP.

Also what happened to all the rumors for him With franson and myers gone youd think his name would be everywhere

This could be really interesting to see the most futile scoring team in the modern era

You call it interesting....I call it torture.

The good news is that there's only 55 more days until it's over.

I think he'll be a perfect "steady" defenseman for our 3rd pair for years to come
(Bogosian, Ristolainen, Zadorov & eventually McCabe as our top4)
I'm guessing he's paired with Weber next year,
And I could actually see that pair working pretty well. I'm not as down on Weber as most. With a guy like Pysyk, and playing light minutes, I think he can be "ok"

If you're going to do something, do it right and know you have/will have a few things in the bank for next year to get back on track.

I think Pysyk ends up on the 2nd pairing. Just a gut feeling.

I agree. As bad as it's been, I know why it's happening and I'm good with it. It's just tough to watch in the meantime.

I watch every game still, continue to keep my season tickets, and all that stuff. But I'm not gonna lie, it's been really painful.

Yeah i realize that but he was in the rumors with myers a while ago and now you havent heard his name much. If the yotes are actually starting this rebuild and moving some players out i wont mind throwing them an offer

It hasn't been that painful because A.) I don't live in Buffalo and don't pay for season tickets so I'm not sure how I would feel if I did so all the credit in the world to everyone who has kept their tickets through this crap.

B.) Rooting for the other team has kept the games intense and interesting for me.

Are u asking what happens if we are tied and the ROW are the same?
I think it comes down to goal differential, so we're in really good shape.
Although, now that all teams play each other, there might be a head to head component in there

I'm not wired that way. I can't openly cheer for the other team. I still watch the games in hopes that they'll win, but when they don't, I'm not disappointed. I'm also smart enough to know that while I hope they win, the chances are not in their favor.

It's still not the same though, as being able to go into the FNC and openly cheer and hope they do well. The atmosphere in the building is awful right now, but I don't blame anyone that's there. It's not easy to get excited about anything right now, so until things turn around, it will remain that way.

In place of McCabe?
I guess I could see it. Tht would put 2 RH shots together on a pairing though.
A lot of coaches don't like to do that unless they really have to...
I think Pysyk spent a decent amount of time paired with Ristolainen in Rochester though... So maybe they try that again up here?
