bozak is easily an upgrade on eller, but you are begging for him not to come to your team?
offensively there is not much difference, at least bozak has shown he can play with skilled players, something eller obviously can't do.
oh, and bozak and plekanec have nearly identical faceoff winning percentage.
who's the village idiot again? clearly you're just a bandwagoning habs fan, nice try though. - sensnucksnocups
Bozak and Eller both suck. Don't want either of them on the habs. Eller cant produce offence but he's a big body that is defensively reliable. Bozak is the opposite, good offensively but isnt really known for his defense and is softer than butter. Plus he only produces when his bf's Kessel or JVR are. Can't make anything happen on his own. Neither are ideal on the habs but we're stuck with Eller for the time being. |

Eller is a good-sized, talented player that just can't seem to put it together here in Montreal. He has a lot of skills but no skill management... |

I don't think Kassian is going anywhere, especially the way he has been gaining chemistry with Matthias and Dorset. - Mortalis
That would be the Leafs number one line these days. |

What we know of him - he makes for a fantastic 3C.
I'm sure he won't be cheap, and he's under contract for three more years (?) The acquisition I'd really like out of MTL is Emelin, but highly doubt he gets moved for obvious reasons.
The 'Hawks are restricted salary-wise, so it would have to involve Brian Bickell going back the other way. Not sure how much you guys need a big-bodied winger who shows up only in the playoffs. He's like a Chris Stewart without the attitude problems. |

Hamonic, cizikas, martin, dehaan (12th), grabner (waiver), hickey (waiver), lee (3rd round tied for rookie lead in goals this season), Nelson. Every one of these players were piicked out of the top five most in later rounds after the 3rd besides dehaan who went 12th and nelson who went 30th. Like I said I've always been critical but even I have to give credit. These players are all gigantic reasons for this teams resurgence. Hes not perfect but to think hes an idiot is pretty stupid in itself. - Cptmjl
Actually Lee was a 6th rd pick which is even more impressive. Haters gonna hate |

That's about where Eller stands in Montreal. He's a good 2 way player and fits well on a third line. Montreal brass expected him to be a second line center though.
If the Hawks were to offer Bickell in exchange, Bergevin (who knows Bickell well) would certainly make the trade. Lord knows we need character and grit on this team. Can he play on the right wing though, because we're missing a piece over there. |

That's what i was thinking. I think Bickell would be a great fit in MTL. And it's a deal that works for the Hawks too. Can only hope MB is reading this because nobody's heard of any such rumour. |

They draft and pick up players a lot better than many teams... Snow has made some astute moves. Not giving the guy credit is to ignore reality.

As @AndyTonge1 reported, two TOR scouts, incl DPP Mark Hunter, in Manchester today to see AHL Monarchs, where Mike Richards currently toils.

Well our most pressing need is probably another defense-man, though a gritty, bottom-six forward is always preferred as well for a playoff run.
Moving Bickell would be great considering that he'll likely be the first one moved this summer when the 'Hawks have to attempt to re-sign Saad and Kruger with no cap space.
You guys want Sharp? We can make something happen ... |

Your buddy's nuts. We love Weise in Montreal and Clarkson definately isn't an upgrade on him. And Bozak's a bum, see a few comments ago. You can have Emelin for Franson though |
