I was there in '91: it's likely to be very very different now. If you have the time, take a day trip to Tulum, about 30 miles south. It's gorgeous snorkeling and Mayan pyramids. The film "Blue Lagoon" was filmed there.

My buddy and I also took the Booze Cruise to some private island. As each person got on the boat, they pinned a note on your chest with your name and the hotel where you were staying. The cab ride back to the hotel was paid as part of the ticket for the trip, and was entirely necessary!!

According the elite prospects, Ullmark has a contract with MODO until 16/17. However, its listing his current season as "on loan". So maybe since he signed his ELC, the Sabres are loaning him to MODO and bought it out (much like the Sabres did to get Risto here last year, they bought out his contract and put him in AHL)

EDIT: That appears exactly the situation. He is on loan with MODO and his contract is with the Sabres. Im pretty sure his ELC will slide a year since thats exactly what happened with Armia.

I'm over winter. I just keep telling myself that in 55 days I'll be sitting on the beach in Cancun.

Yep, sure he made more money than he wouldve otherwise made over there. Doesnt really hurt us in his development to let him stay there, although MODO is (frank)ing awful.
