Lemieux might have been the biggest schock. In all reality the majority of the fan base including myself is more infatuated with the name than the player. If we traded Claude Smith rather than Claude Lemieux than there wouldn't be such an outcry of disapproval.

Ehhh whatever, what will be will be, with either Eichel/McDavid/Kane/Reinhart the few vets we have left should be an interesting season next year. Going to leave the guessing and wondering to other people.

Realistically it's not going to happen. We lost a lot of our tradable assets. Sure at the draft we could give up NYI 1st but we'd still likely need to give them a roster player and a top prospect.

I guess I could see Ennis NYI 1st and... Compher? They'd probably want someone with more upside though. Bet it would cost us Bailey or Zadorov maybe?

From a development standpoint, yes. But this is actually a decent game. Put Hodgson down there and try to get them to the playoffs. Only useful thing I can see him for anymore
