Didn't one of McKenzie or Dregger (can't remember which one) recently say they haven't heard of the habs showing serious interest in Yakupov? I'm inclined to believe either of those guys than you. Also McKenzie said MB is looking to make a hockey deal and get a player with term left on his contract, and Yak's contract expires this year. Also just don't want to see that floater in Montreal, would much rather prefer Eberle.

Leafs do have some young talent. They could trade for him but it would be an over payment for sure.

With guys like Reilly, JVR, Kadri, Nylander etc.... they definitely have pieces to make the move. Just not in a position to overpay right now.

Meh, I don't really see a fit with Bergenheim on the Bruins. He wouldn't be an upgrade over their top 9 wingers, and they're looking for someone to step in to a top 6 role.
