That's called being a douche bag, not being a bully. A bully is someone who will come up to you on the play ground and make you give them your lunch money or get beat up. If someone does that as an adult, it's called extortion and/or any slew of arrestable offenses, and can easily be solved by contacting the local authorities.

All of us want him extended... question is gonna be price. Hes been paid up to 2.5 mil in the past, but injury in seasons past and lower performance until just this season have him dirt cheap. I will have to assume he will end up in the middle, around 1.75 mil a year after this season.

The 3 players on my list of far exceeding expectations for the season, in this order.

Comeau has to be at the top of my list. I had decent expectations for him, but nothing close to what he has accomplished. Downie has exceeded my expectations, but I wouldn't say he has far exceeded them. I figured he could be a 20-25 point guy with somewhere in the 5-10 goal range. And seeing as how he will probably play the rest of the year on the 4th line, my guess is that he doesn't finish too high above that.

I saw that. Looked like Perron went for the jugular, but Perron was definitely laughing/smiling, so it was clearly a joke, but Adams was not smiling/laughing. I wonder if the rest of the team bullies Adams. That would be hilarious. Not that bullying is hilarious, but just the fact that it is being done to Adams.

See tbh I never imagined him being anything but a drag. After the Columbus series and all those idiotic penalties he took against us. And I certainly didn't foresee him having chemistry with anyone.

Cheers to JR for bringing those two in. Hell I've been saying for a while now that Spalling has been ok. Outside of being placed over his head when he's in the topsix he has been reliable defensively, and is only slightly overpaid for his production. Which he is getting with no powerplay time like he had in Nashville.

Add in the Hornqvist and Perron trades and I'd really like to buy old man Rutherford a couple of beers.

17 and 24 goal seasons with the Islanders... then he went downhill for 4 years or so due to injuries and lesser teams.

It's Comeau for me. Bounced around the last couple years are bad penalty after bad penalty in last years playoffs. I thought his disipline would send him to the dog house....and I never thought he would mesh with Malkin because Comeau holds on to and skates with the puck more than any linemate Malkin's ever had chemistry with
