Yea... The man has the job every single one of us dreams to have. I hear you own a company and etc. Okay... Are you a multimillionare that controls an NHL team? Don't think so.

Dont lie and say you wouldn't want that kind of job because ever person on here pretends to be a GM. Its fun. I do it too.

I am very shocked they moved him SB, I mentioned before I knew they were close on getting Kane I posted it but I didn't know about Lemiuex or Myers, I knew it was Stafford and Armia. We had enough to get Kane without moving Myers but, the game against the Sens the Jets AGM and head scout were there and wanted Myers.

Mr hard hat, I like pat a lot and know him very well. But the hall of famer youtalk about, has had one,I mean, five I mean ten to many concussions. Do you have any idea what transpired between Terry and pat. Terry gets along with everyone,he hated him. Pat unfortunately has some head issues and for you to say a hall of famer brought him in,shows your short sightedness just like half of buffalo. Ted Nolan is A JOKE AS A COACH. LET ME MAKE THAT CLEAR. THAT comes from a lot of NHL players. Listen I know, I was there when pat took dominik and me golfing to convince him to men fences with nolan. Dominik and the veteran players despised Nolan, he hated Muckler and bad mouthed him ALL THE TIME IN the locker room. Why doesn't that mother fffffffer consult me on player transactions. All the young players liked him because they were just happy to be there. If you heard the stories, you would never ever want Nolan here again. The refs make jokes about him during ga,es, and THATS THE FACTS

I can't read that and I refuse to do so really.
I may get a concussion reading that.

quite happy isn't extremely or in love. So it could be better. Look I'm happy with my career choice as well but as a die hard that loves the Sabres I'd be in heaven if I was able to be a GM. I mean come on that's a job where you get to control a team for the greatest sport in the world.

You're problem is your love fest for Nolan. I really don't want to hear you complement Murray in 5-6 years when we are cup contenders with a real coach. I want you to eat your words and hate Murray forever for being a "douche" and letting go a coach that is terrible.

Two things worried me. That players we as fans valued pretty highly weren't valued nearly as high by Murray it seems. The second is hearing Murray say Foligno was on his untouchable list... What has he done to be worth so much? If trading Foligno were to save us from trading Armia and a 1st or Myers id do it in a heartbeart.

That game is an example of what he can be when we are good.

We outplayed another team and Myers ended up with 4 shots and a goal.

IMO it was a mistake.

He probably will never win a Norris, but we are now 100% banking on Risto/Zads to be top pairing players.

Lol,because you are just like most buffalo fans who fall in love with the hooray guys,Ted Nolan, marv levy, and the bevy of great coaching we have had. This is exactly what is wrong with sports, most general managers and coaches are guys who could of done nothing else in life. They are ex players, lifers and it is all the buddy system. That's why morons like Ted Nolan, darcy REGIER who never finished high school get jobs in the real world would be picking up garbage. That is why the smart teams ,get smart people and they win. They don't choose teddy Nolan to coach

He didn't say he was untouchable. He said nobody was untouchable, but he did say that there are some guys that he would rather not trade. Girgensons, Risto, Zadorov, and Gionta were the names mentioned during his press conference after Enroth was traded. I know he mentioned Foligno earlier in the day after the Myers/Kane trade. Foligno fits the mold of the kind of player he likes. If he keeps playing the way he has the last 2 games, then I think it's best to hold onto him. Let's not forget, it took his brother Nick a while to blossom and he's having a hell of a season now.

My guess, Foligno is wanted for McEichel. He can skate, hit, fight and on occasion put the puck in the net (and probably be able to score on a regular basis with McEichel).

We really don't have anyone else like that.

Murray wants a big team with speed, scoring and grit and Foligno fits that as does Stewart but we are waiting to see what happens with him. I was told and I know some don't believe me that Murray was not a fan of Armia and looked at him as a trade asset and not a player he wanted to move forward with. He would move Myers if he got a young scoring winger and that's all he would move him for and he got that in Kane.

But that's not me.
I give credit where credit is due whether I like or dislike someone.
It's what grown ups do.
I have said all along that I would only give credit to Murray when I see him build his own team.
I will not give him credit for building a team with all the ground work / ugly dirty work being done by the GM before him.
So, to be fair, it may be 5-6 years down the road before I give Murray credit for anything, if he indeed lasts that long.

I understand where you're coming from but he wanted a young scoring winger and he got that. Now IMO he could have got Kane without Myers if he added more sweetener to the deal but he wanted Bogosian.

Risto is going to be very good, I'm not worried about him at all. Zads I am not sold on yet, only because I'm not sure he will ever be solid in his own zone. We can teach him the defensive game if he wants to learn, who knows if he ever does.

Yea, myself more than anyone.

I don't like the trade. I like Evander Kane, but he isn't an established All-Star. He potentially is.

The package we traded is something that a player like Hall or Nash is moved for

I know Murray said yesterday that Lemieux was a sticking point for Winnipeg. My guess would be the other sticking point was Myers. I know that we all keep looking at this as it was Myers for Bogosian and the rest for Kane, but there's a lot more too it than that.

Don't forget, you can only send out so much salary and stuff as well. They have to think about the cap and you do need vets around for the kids. I'm not ready to ship Foligno out yet. I know some people would be fine with it, but then I look at what Nick has done since leaving Ottawa and I don't want to make that mistake with Marcus, especially because I think he is a more dynamic player than Nick.

The thing is its not very hard to sell. You take calls and you take the best offer.

Reinhart, McEichel, Kane are Murrays guys. They will be a bigggggg part of us becoming a contender one day hopefully soon.

I heard it was Stafford, Armia and Psysk at first but the Jets said no way.
