he's 27...we got him when he was 21. He hasn't blown away his numbers from boston since. Teams have to make room for an $8 million dollar guy who scores points and thats all he does. LITERALLY nothing else. Im not saying he's over the hill..but he's definitely peaked in his career. I would bet my life he'll be an ugly contract by year 5 or so. I mean, cookies aren't the diet of champions.

Burke did say several times that he would have made the trade anyway. It sounds like your defending Burkie for what he gave up and what he thought he was going to give up.

A team as bad as we were should NEVER trade first round draft picks. Burke made a huge mistake. IMO
