Id root for a western team. Most likely one of the California teams or the Hawks. Colorado is a good option too. That said, I'll likely just keep rooting for the Leafs as patiently as possible. (frank) the rest

Helluva goalie, and you gotta love him telling the Habs where to stick it and then going on to win a cup elsewhere.
He is total d1ck now though. At least he still has the competitive spirit.

I think regardless of what happens with Nonis, we are in for a pretty bad couple years.
We are all on board with tanking and shedding as much of this dead weight as we can. the reality is that we are going to get very little that is exciting or interesting in return. Draft picks aren't going to keep us entertained for at least a few years.
If they do this right, I think I am going to have to pick a new team to cheer for for a while.

I'm not so sure. Leaf Nation can get excited and hopeful about anything. Imagine 3 or 4 really good young prospects in the pool. They'll lose and we'll cheer as long as their is a plan that appears have hope. |

Leafs rebuild is 2 years too late. Or at least 1 year.
Nonis has terrible asset management and needs to go.
Could have gotten picks/prospects for Raymond, Kulemin, MAcArthur.
The Gleason trade and buyout was god awful, too.
Tank. Draft Sean Day next draft, and him and Reilly will be our cornerstone Dmen.
