That's valid, and I typically ignore what happens in the lives of celebrities. Ask yourself if you knew someone had committed a crime such as this, beating someone to the point where the amount of blood apparently looked like a murder scene, and you were told they were joining your company and would be working directly with you. How well would you accept them? - BetterCallSaul
The act itself is disgusting, my philosophy on my work environment is that if they are doing their job and not (frank)ing my day up I don't care.
Besides friends and family people are either useful or useless to me. Guess I'm kinda a Douche I dunno lol

No, that's fair. I try to be a leave work at work and home at home guy. I just don't think I could look passed something like that, and would worry about the team he goes to feeling the same way.

Oh he's screwed and ruined his earning potential big time.

I'd say that playing pro hockey is a privilege, not a right. If somebody can't conduct themselves in an appropriate fashion whether at or away from the rink, then they don't get to do it. Its a high standard, but just having the ability is not justification enough for a seven-figure salary.

Where does it say you aren't entitled to any privacy at all. If I beat my girl and my boss put it in the newspaper and told all potential employers I'd sue the living christ out of him.
Again what he did if true is disgusting, but it's none of our business.

I don't condone what he did, but some of these trophy women that they get, can be out and out b!tches, when they don't get their payday. It makes me wonder, but I guess that I'll never be that rich and be able to afford a trophy wife.

Ummm your boss doesn't have to put it in the paper, if you're charged with a crime then it's readily available. Employers are regularly asking if you've been convicted of a crime for which a pardon was not issued.

No, I am totally against violence against women. What I'm saying, some of these gold-diggers get their hooks into some of these high end athlete's and then want to take half of their earnings, while bringing nothing into the relationships. It's been seen in many sports and entertainment personalities. It's their own fault, but sometimes blackmail comes into the equation and sometimes, the trophy girlfriend decides to make their quarry jealous. Yes, it's totally wrong, but there is more to some of these stories than you'll ever know. That's why they usually get settled out of court and a non disclosure agreement follows. The gold-digger wins and the entertainer/sports personality gets hosed.

I wouldn't of even responded anyone with half a brain knew what you were saying, unless it was "get (frank)ed, use your head bumhole"
I was married 33 years, to my late wife. I went into the dating scene, after 37 years, and what a wakeup call it was. Some of the stuff in this cartoon are right on the mark. I've seen this behaviour and worse. I've had a couple of relationships, since my wife passed away, but at the end of them, I found that they have these trust issues and they want everything their way. Unfortunately, for these kind of women, they didn't get far with this attitude, because I refuse to be worked over in that way.

I've heard that it's common practice with many of the athletes, to use condoms and when done, take them with you, so they can't use the leavings, to get pregnant and cause a paternity suit. It's gotten that bad, in the entertainment industry.

I don't even know if that's scientifically possible, but it wouldn't shock me.

I think in the instance where you are charged by the state (or the crown for us), it's essentially in the public realm. Obviously more details are released in this case as he's a public person, but the fact that you are charged is indeed public knowledge.

I understand that but who's employer is checking on this daily?
And if they did find out and fired you prior to conviction you'd win that case. I'm not a lawyer just my opinion lol

How is this relevant to anything. All kinds of poop goes on in any relationship. Don't tell me you're against domestic violence then go on with these idiotic stories about evil women.

You'd be surprised. Especially in industries where you deal with minors, vulnerable people (such as a healthcare profession), or one where the companies reputation rests partly on your actions. Some in the us actually do random tests (alcohol, drugs, even tobacco) and if its against company policy you're done.
