love the bozak excuse. Is bozak the best? by no means. But go ask gaborik in columbus, hossa in atlanta, iginla in calgary etc who their centre was during their 40g seasons.

my point is i don't possibly see how he is worth nearly as much now as he was in boston. He's peaked, still in his prime, but peaked.

Habs will not win the cup

I'll buy every (frank)ing Hab player jersey if I have to.

They have to make it out of the east first.

We'll see after that.

Price gets hot, team stays healthy, then they should be right there with Tampa. They are better than every other team in the east, maybe tied with Detroit. I don't see the west as dominant this year. They have all had some inconsistency. Nashville lacks the deep playoff experience. So, yeah, I see a legitimate chance there.

No kidding.......all we need is one of our blue chip UFA's to get hurt and some valuable future assets are not coming this way!

I've been saying that all along and you can almost bank on it happening. We got an example of how teams will undercut us. Now that Winnipeg has made their big deal, they'll probably not bother making another one, with us. Who's next to make a deal and fall out of the marketplace? This procrastinating bullsh!t is going to bite us in the ass. Just like last year, when the Islanders tried to hit a home run with Thomas Vanik and ended up giving him to the Habs for virtually nothing, when the clock hit 3PM. They're playing a dangerous game and this club doesn't have the luxury of hitting snake eyes. It also could have an adverse affect on our draft position, as well.

When Winnik scored to tie the game last night, it could have cost us a draft position or two, if the Leafs had went on and won. They have to move these guys out now, or risk getting hosed in the draft. I don't want to draft 6 through 10. The best centremen are in the top 5 and that's where we need to be.

get used to the 6-10 spot, even if they fall to bottom five other teams will win the lottery and knock them down 3 spots

This year, only one team can advance. Next year, it's 3. Get into the bottom 3 or 4 and guarantee their draft position. Letting Winnik, Santorelli and Franson continue to push for the big contract extension, is playing with dynamite. The first line already has their travel plans finalized, for the day after the regular season ends. The guys with expiring contracts are the one's that'll sink our opportunity to get a top draft pick. Wake the fu ck up Shanahan!

Huh? Can't you only be knocked down by 1 spot this year if any team behind you wins the lottery?
