Kassian is killing me. I suspected he was mocking his critics with the angry mug on previous goals and now the super exaggerated celebration has me convinced he's mocking since the new cirticism was about his lack of celebration. What ever works.... keep it up then.

He had an assist the last game before those scratches. I think he's on a 4 game point streak on top of the goal streak.

Im not expecting this to be the "Turning of the corner" For Kassian. He has lots to learn. But it does show that if he is listening to both his critics and his coaches and seems to be trying to make the nessacary adjustments to his game.

Every time I remind myself Horvat is only 19 I get even more impressed. I would be much less surprised if he was some scoring rookie on the top 6 who I know would get murdered with any defensive responsibility... and yet Horvat is excelling at both ends of the ice as the season progresses..
