I just hope Benning has a clear picture of what this team is by the TDL so he can start making some moves. Worst thing that could happen to this team is they look like they are in the playoff picture and then fold like a cheap tent after the TDL.

Yes but if we have low chances at playoffs unless we trade the farm at deadline he iwll have to sell assets. If we lose a lot in what's left of feb and end up 10-20pts behind he will have no choice but to tank. He also said he will not ruin our future for a shot at playoffs now.

It's not black and white. The options aren't limited to make the playoffs or tank. And even if they were, what is the point of tanking in the last month of the season? To move up a couple of spots in the draft? He could always fight for the playoffs until the bitter end and then try to trade up at the draft. Or he could take any number of other possible paths.
