McMillan is a decent 4th liner, but don't expect much offense. He's a good checker who can PK. Fast skater and will finish checks and mix it up. |

every year the canucks have the same problem before trade deadline. They need a top 4 D and a top 6 forward. - pker2theend

Just read this at HF from a Yotes fan:
Pros: McMillan has plenty of hustle and foot speed. He will get to the puck quickly and battle hard for it. His multi-positional versatility is great for the fourth line as he can slot in basically anywhere you need him. Brings lots of energy to his game. Willing to block shots.
Cons: Has virtually no scoring touch at all. Always seems to put himself in position to score without being able to finish whatsoever - noticeable even on a scoring-challenged Coyotes squad.
Summary: He's best used to eat minutes while resting your top-6 players on the bench. He'll help keep the puck out of your net and away from your zone. But don't rely on him contributing much of anything to the offense.

Come on now, Gillis made some bad moves but if anything I think he tended to overthink with his obsession with advanced stats and trying to rely more on numbers than scouting. - Nucker101
How can you have seen the scroatee and still claim that Gillis suffered from overthinking? |

We also need to get more size and net presence, but don't worry we don't need someone who can shoot a puck |

Well, if he can play center, maybe they are thinking about moving Horvat further up the line up?

Unless multiple players are going to be traded soon this makes no sense. |

Lack (26), Eriksson (24), Markstrom (24) and Cannata (25) are all likely to have moved on to the next phase of their careers - NHL, Europe or otherwise - by the time Demko goes pro in another 3-4 years |

I just hope he's no more than a 13th forward here. Kennins deserves to keep playing. And if they trade Kassian for a "meh" return I'll cry |

By the sounds of this we got another Dorsett type player. The entire season we have been saying that the team is soft, slow and has no hustle and we get to pick a player meeting all requirements for free and we are now thinking wtf4? |
