I see Percy, Gauthier, Leivo and Granberg as legit NHL players to some level.

Too early to tell with Nylander, Nilsson, Johnson, Brown, Finn and Bibeau.

Finns going to be a stud. Slowed by illness and injury last 2 yrs. Best D prospect on Marlies IMO

Might be our top 4 guys but on most teams, probably 6 down...

We are ranked near the bottom for prospects...every year we finish between 25-30, terrible for a team who never makes the playoffs.

Does anyone really think management will do this the right way? I will believe it when i see it. The fans have been calling for a proper rebuild for a long time...i have yet to see any resemblance of a plan in my 35 futile years as a Leaf fan.

the only bids they'll get on their core is over how much of the contract they'll have to eat.

Pessimism from a Habs fan? No..... can't be. Although seeing as you're a HB season ticket holder you must be pretty bright, we should probably listen to you...........

Know what I see one the ice from these guys is a lack of interest to get engaged physically with the other team. Its very strange looking at the players on paper that have some guys with size and pounds on them but they all play like they are 5'7" 160 lbs no one can push the opposing players around no matter how big or small they are.

I'm not sure if its the lack of caring or just not in there game but we have to much of the same thing from every player that's for sure.

I do I think shanny would refuse to do it other wise. And when the day comes where or if I no longer think they can fix this or do it the right way I wont be a fan anymore and from your point of view why are you still a fan?

I wanted to vote but my opinion wasn't listed. I don't think this team is as bad their recent record shows. The leafs went from being one of the highest scoring team in the league to the lowest in over the course of a month and a half. Has to be do to the change of systems. No way every player on the team just forgets to score. Add the fact that goaltending has been considerable worse than normal. I do think that the core needs to be blown up because of complete lack of character and leadership and I think management realizes it. I believe they move all their ufas by trade deadline and move core pieces if they believe they can get fair value either now or in the summer. My biggest concern is thAt this team will start scoring again and win just enough games to finish out the season and hurt their draft position.

the collapse corresponds with the Leafs brass getting a good closeup look of McDavid winning WJ gold at the ACC.

no, they really weren't

well Carlo was a bit, and if he wasn't made of glass he would have been very good. Lost a ton of crucial development time 19-24 yrs old.

none have Finn's pedigree to this point.

he's following Kessel's lead.

Get him off that line and he's much better, as he was last night.

every time he breaks them up, JVR plays better. Then PH puts them back together and hello suck

Complete tear-down. Keep JVR Kadri Rielly Gardiner, Holland. That is it. The rest need to be traded, bought out, or demoted. Tank Tank Tank.

Do you believe there are any prospects in the Leafs system that they can consider for the future?

The Leafs are total crap. I think the biggest thing they lack in that room is a proper leader to set the tone. When I picture their dressing room in my mind, I can see Phil Kessel and Dion Phaneuf in their respective spots moping about how much their life sucks in Toronto. This team needs a John Tavares type to pull them out from years of absolute misery.

Tear it the fucck down already.

This. I think this is what they are trying to start this season. I'd be extremely surprised if they won 5 more games this year
