thats crazy.. there is a lot in there.. if lemieux or armia is dropped and another 2nd was added i might be ok with it.. but that is a lot to process and could really kill us or really help us..

i know it is a huge what if.. but if this goes through Wpg misses the playoffs and wins the draft lottery.. we could end up with McDavid & Eichel..

We traded Lemieux and ended up with McDavid.

If this really is the deal, Murray needs to be fired and his ass physically tossed out of the FNC period!

How else do you get players drafted in the top 5 if you did not draft them (there are two of those in that deal from the Jets)?

I really don't see why people are crying over this. I'm a big Myers fan and yea seeing him go will hurt but the drop off from him and Bogosian is not much. Then you are adding a 4th 1st rounder in the deepest draft since 2013 who will easily be a better player then Lemieux who is gonna be the next Matt Cooke. Stafford is a bum, I like armia but you're getting a proven power forward who can fly and pot you 30 goals a year playing on the Jets and armia is still unproven. You get the best player in the trade and a 1st round pick on top of that. Just think of a Kane-McEichel-Ennis line next year

If you drop Lemiuex I would add (2) more second rounders, who cares.

I see that side as well. I am also a big Myers fan but there is a scenario where we could get the three best players in that trade (or maybe 3 or the best 4). You do have to give to get.

From reading all of this. It seems like the listed trade is close even.

people dont like the fact you had to give up assets which means you dind't fleece the other GM. Which usually happens.
