Well, it looks like the @BuffaloSabres are ready to welcome Evander Kane to Buffalo.

They would not be including their own first in the deal

The trade now helps their tank for Mcdavid even more.

Which is what you are saying I think

I'm thinking the noble gases, plus a conditional non-metal.

I heard that they faxed over a periodic table and asked them to pick 2.

1st round pick Jets acquire will be lowest of 3 of the Sabres picks. Very complicated trade. Sounds like an unsigned player from Peg as well

what impressed me the most, and it's not even a skill thing, is that the habs attack the net with players who don't have the puck on almost every O zone possession. there was someone in emery's face all night. i don't recall that kind of play from the habs really just about ever.

they are quick to get the puck up and out, move it well, and always seem to get to the loose pucks. but we're used to seeing that from the flyers. just about every team beats them to pucks in their own zone all game long. to me, it's their biggest problem. they spend way too much time in their own end chasing. wears them down and limits offensive rushes the other way.

- hammarby31

Guys like Lars Eller and Galchenyuk have really upped their game.

Every time a Hab took the puck down the wing another guy was crashing the crease and they threw the puck towards the net. It didn't work but there were a lot of close calls.

They are a pretty good team. They might have some match up struggles with other teams that have fast puck moving type defenseman but I like their speed and they have a lot of good younger guys.

I don't disagree. I'll make my point clearer. Even though the Flyers were drastically outplayed, they still had a chance to win the game. Giroux and Couturier both had breakaways, Giroux and Voracek had a 2 on 1, Laughton hit the post on a line rush. Which is why I said that they could've won but still would've been outplayed. The best team, either overall, or in a specific game doesn't always win.
- MJL

I get what you are saying.. I really do. Im just trying to look at the entire picture... not only including the Flyers "what if's" but the Habs as well.

Flyers had a bunch of really good chances (mostly earlier on), and it may have well been a different game if they cashed it a bit better, but thats a what if. The same can be said about the Habs.

Lets put it this way, had the Habs cashed in on a few more of their chances, and won the game 4-2, combined with how thoroughly they out played, we wouldnt even be discussing this.

Its kind of my point all season long. Flyers are not a very good team. HOWEVER, they can beat good teams. They just have to capitalize on their chances. They were out played in the 2nd period, and dominated in the 3rd and OT. They NEEDED to cash in. The Habs just need to keep plugging along.

Unsigned player from the Peg wouldn't happen to be rights to Burmestrov, would it?

Well at least they went to Buffalo.

That's...a lot of question marks for the Jets.

Could end up being a huge haul- Myers could still turn into a real good player.
Armia has great potential. Different case then Myers in that he really hasn't fallen from grace, but he can still really be good.
That 1st rounder is a 1st rounder.
Don't know who Lemieux is, tbh
Stafford is already a good player.

If the unsigned guy is Burmistrov going back to Buffalo...I mean that's a blue chip prospect right there

If the potentials pan out for the Jets, that's a hell of a trade.

If not....yowza
