I like the trade for both teams. Pretty much a fair swap, Bogosian and Myers (slight edge to the Jets) plus they add two solid prospects in Armia and Lemieux and a 1st in a deep draft. They get rid of the problem child as well.

Sabres get a proven talent in Kane that can play with McDavid/Eichel if they get one of them. If not, Kane is still a young player. They gave a 1st but still have two more. Bogosian replaces Myers well enough.

Armia has great potential. Different case then Myers in that he really hasn't fallen from grace, but he can still really be good.

Don't know who Lemieux is, tbh
Stafford is already a good player.

If the unsigned guy is Burmistrov going back to Buffalo...I mean that's a blue chip prospect right there

He's not as good as his rookie year. He's a second pairing defenseman, IMO and I think most teams understood that.

certainly helps Winnipeg right now being they are in the heat of a playoff race and lost Kane. plus they pick up 2 prospects and another first (between the Isles and Blues pick which means very late in the first round)
