Out of curiosity, what would you offer for Hamilton if you're MacT?

Hall for Seth Jones. Bigger package and i'm not sure what it would entail. if im nashville i ain't moving Jones, but to me Hall at least gives them a player they have for years if they ever entertain it. I'd do Hall + for Seth. As in Hall + pit's 1st you got for Perron. That's how good Jones is. Plays all positions, young, size, and 2 way game.

So you can give up what 4 top 10 overall picks and get black listed by every team in the league?
- Feds91Stammer

We won't be offer sheeting.

But even still, where did this blacklist bs come from?
Brian Burke ' s tantrum back in the day?

It's part of the rules.
Did sj get blacklisted for driving prices up on hjalmarsson? The nucks on Backes?
If u can make things tougher on your opponents u do it.

furthermore, any gm that refuses to deal with a certain gm because of personal anger even though it could improve his team, should be fired.
It's a business.

Where did u hear that gms get blacklisted?

Without having a horse in this race...

I could see Hamilton for Eberle as a good return for Edmonton and pretty mch what Boston is going to have to pay if they want a winger with that upside. There is a gamble there as to whether or not either player lives up to expectations.

The Krug offer would have to depend on the quality of the prospect. Krug + Subban would be intriguing.

I just dont see a trade to be made. Lets face it, hockey trades dont exist anymore. The only way good players are made avaiable outside their contract years is when teams choose to rebuild with youth, or they (frank) themselves with the salary cap? EDmonton isnt trying to get younger and I dont think Boston is planning a rebuild. Time to move on.

Fair enough....but jones will impact any team much more than a hall will. Lets kook to the future. Say hall is a top 5 winger....call him "kessel". Say jones is a top 5 dman 2 ways...call him "pietrangelo".

The 1st is basically a 2nd. A pure wildcard. Possibly a nothing. Plus you have zero D outside nurse. And a few wingers who can score (hopefully yak turns it around).

Still not interested?

With a declining Chara, Hamilton is worth his weight in gold to them.
Ebs doesn't get it done.

But neither does Krug + do much for us.

There isn't a doubt that Hall for Jones is a fair trade.
