As far as the whole Jones argument, keep in mind this guy plays on arguably the best defense in the league. Potential is there but far from a stud right now

again, krug plays behind Seidenberg, chara and Hamilton not petry, ference and fayne.
krug is a better skater, but im not so sure hes a huge improvement. and more importantly not enough to offset eberle.
id rather a two way guy than an offensive specialist anyway.

id be willing to deal eberle for the right piece. but i don't think krug is that. and I like krug

yeah asking prices are ridiculous.

This is actually not as ridiculous as some.

What I expect the Leafs to do is wait until the last minute to get the best deal, totally misjudge the market and end up with a 3rd and a salary dump coming back.

just fire nonis already, if that's the asking price the leafs will lose franson for nothing. or even worse, sign him to a phaneuf-like extension.

LOL jones for hall. the latter, who has already proven he can be a ppg+ player.

while jones cant even crack pp1. he has potential, and will be a very good dman one day, but no one in their right mind will trade a ppg forward for a dman that has potential.

realistically, if hall is getting traded for a dman, it will be for someone like OEL.

I think a 2nd and a prospect is a garuntee and slight chance we get more from someone desperate.

I just read an article depicting how much the Flames suck because advanced stats say so, in fact Edmonton is a better possession team than us, therefore they are in much better shape than we are. My head hurts.

julien isnt giving minutes to krug because he isn't great defensively. he's not terrible, but he's no where near as good as chara, seidenberg or hamilton.

and you're insane if you think krug would lead the oilers in points if given similar schultz ice time. first of all there is zero chance he outscores hall, second of all krug would get destroyed in the west, imagine him as a 1st pairing D up against toews, kopitar, getzlaf, etc? give me a break.

Southeast Division Champs, brah. Leafs never won one of those bad boys. Gutter franchise.
