Dude, can you imagine Nurse and Jones playing 25min a game for the Oilers for the next decade plus? Not to mention 1 is a RHS and the other LHS. that is something you drool over and exactly how you build a foundation to a hockey team. Nurse is actually older than Jones too!!

You vastly overestimate what the oilers have up front.
we lose hall, our 1lw is Pouliot.

We also need possession driving forwards.

and again this comes back to what you're calling fact as jones true superstar. He's not. And he's certainly not worth Hall + to the oilers.

we have far more quality prospects on the backend then we do up front. We struggle to score already.
someone offering us oel or hedman etc for hall? Let's talk.
but until jones is that, or if he ever is, the oilers lose the trade badly.

So since we have some pieces hopefully in place, we wait on the others. Not gut one to hopefully fill another.
