On an individual basis, sure its the NHL prospect. Playing against a team with 4-6 years more experience collectively as well as physical maturity is a different story.

The thing that nobody has mentioned though, is that a good majority of the kids in Jr won't make it to the NHL either. Yes, there is a higher percentage, but the top guys in any league, whether it's the CHL or NCAA, are going to be playing against a decent amount of guys with a lot less talent.

Mention 1st round picks, Armia and even though many people say Winnipeg doesn't need D, they say they have discussed Myers so who knows. I will have to take off trade deadline day this year just see where Stewart, if Stafford, and if/where anywhere else goes.

Fair enough. Honestly if you check out the rosters, the overall size of both teams (erie, BU) is very similar. I think experience counts for more than size, and a structured game can certainly debilitate free wheeling talent.

Honestly no team is in a better spot than Buffalo when it comes to Kane. Others teams that are interested don't have multiple 1sts and/or don't want to subtract from their roster for a player that can't help them this year.

Interesting to hear that Winnipeg had talks about Myers before. I don't think Myers is part of a package to just land Kane but I'd be curious to know what the "+" on either side would be for that kind of deal.
