Heading down to FL for a few weeks this Friday.

Keep an eye out on 10 West Saturday morning for a big-ass bag of recyclables.

Speculation in Jets thread that they pick up Mike Ricgards to replace Kane. Interesting....

Considering it's gonna be about zero for three straight days up here combined with snow for several days in a row, I'll take it.

I've got two driveways and I'm tired of busting my ass every day plowing myself out.

Do you want to be hard to play against? We need better talent. Which probably means we don't get our McEichel. Teddy has been dealt a crappy hand this year. I am under no delusion that he is our long term coach . But people lining up to throw in under the bus is just a little stupid as well . Get over it. We stink and we were meant to stink.

I'm fine with them stinking and being outplayed, but a coach who's claim to fame is "getting the most out of his players" doesn't seem to be able to do that since he's been back. It's not about some crazy shift to getting goals from such crap, but seeing actual hockey plays on the ice.

I'd give my left arm to know what Uncle Terry's plans are. Could it be that the team is right around where he expected them to be and there is going to be a scorched-earth feel once the trades happen? It just feels like a dangerous game of chicken. If we moved Enroth, Stewart and (gulp) Stafford we might have saved ourselves a few points over this last week.

Spooner is a nothing player, he gets passed up on call ups and couldn't crack the roster after the season started. Bruns blogs don't speak highly of him.

Stafford should have been gone 2 years ago.

Spooner much like Eriksson does not fit into Bostons Model, IMO.

He is a slick skater/puck handler. He is not what you would think a Bruin normally is.

He was the top rookie scorer in the AHL. Perhaps he needs more time to develope?

Right, but every now and then he wakes up from his slumber and looks like a hockey player for a stretch. I'd rather see Larsson up here again looking completely disinterested. Pair him with Hodgson and you have the makings of a "useful" line.

Rarely works out. Then again, I remember similar things said about Briere when we got him. I guess it depends on if we want a safe low-ceiling prospect or take a chance on someone that could be dynamic.

Larsson does nothing here when he gets called up, he 's an AHL player IMO. We need to rid ourselves of Stafford and Hodgson IMO, but when Ellis stays in the lineup and Hodgson get's scratched something is not right there and i'm not a Hodgson fan at all.

You are correct, but our AHL team is a mess. Its going to become a bigger mess once we trade a few players and have to call players up.

No harm in adding prospects who are further along.

Sponner and Caron for Stewart.

Spooner was the AHL rookie leading scorer in 2013. He is still very young.

Briere was coming off an NHL 60 point 32 goal season followed up by a 57 point season split between Phoenix and Buffalo.

Spooner has 11 points in 32 NHL games.

Not even close to a good comparison IMO.

I'd take McQuaid or Soderberg for Stewart or keep Stewart.
