IMO there is no want to trade him from Murray. Teams call and he listens. When the team is in the shape it's currently in, there is no untouchables as any and all options to improve the team should be explored.
- dadeadhead

This in itself makes sense but even an "overpayment" for Myers wouldn't justify giving up what's considered a top pairing defenseman by Sabre fans. I for one wouldn't trade him and wouldn't want him traded if i were a Sabres fan but I'd like to see it happen just to see the return at this point.

Who is giving you something for enroth? Hes a ufa who has a limited track record, career save percentage is league average, and i think its reasonable to say that he plays better with regular work- which doesnt make him an ideal backup. No playoff team is looking for him to be anything but a backup, im guessing they will look elsewhere. At least gaunce would help the organizations depth, which drops off behind mccabe or ruhwedel, as opposed to the fourth/fifth rounder. This is on B00s btw.
- rover16

Enroth is a better goalie than most give him credit for.

He will get more then a more than likely career AHLer.

Makes sense.

I've also realized that I've become that bumhole that keeps his darts in the car so that if there's a game to be played, I can just go to my car and get my set instead of using bar darts.

When it comes to cards like that, if it isn't graded by Beckett or PSA and it's in the shape it's in.........

It's probably a fake.

Spend the $10-$20 to get it graded and verify it's real.

Do cards still have much value these days. I remember I pulled a Gretzky Upper Deck card in like 1999 that was $300 per beckett back then.

The low production cards of today do but for the most part anything post 1990 has very little value and probably never will do to it being mass produced.

The vintage market is in a current lull, if you have some extra cash is the perfect time to invest. I've spent like $300 in the last few weeks and got a 76/77, 77/78, 78/79, 81/82, 86/87, 88/89 sets, and several rookie cards. The book on these are close to 1k but with everything, it's value is only what one is willing to give you.

If he's so great i don't understand the want to trade him? For an overpayment to help your team long term? I think that's an unrealistic expectation on the return which make these constant blogs all the more stupid. If you guys think he's a top pairing defenseman(which I've read on here countless times)why trade a young, "top pairing" defenseman when those very players are impossible to acquire in the NHL? Makes zero sense and even if you say bcs we are going to get an over payment it still doesn't make any sense. What's an overpayment? A late first and an "A" level fwd prospect? Is that the going rate for a "top pairing" defenseman? This is why these blogs get slammed by other fan bases bcs of exactly what I described here. None of it makes ANY sense.

i personally don't want him moved. I don't know how Murray feels. If he thinks this is the best way to address other needs (especially if he likes the defence that's coming) or perhaps he doesn't value him that highly at all, maybe he's looking to sucker another team who knows.

Does the grading significantly increase value? Most items I have are autographs I acquired personally.
