I don't think so. Kane has said himself that being black is a big reason why he feels he gets portrayed a certain way in the media. Having a close friend who is also black on the team could only help. He doesn't seem to have that relationship with Big Buff. Not sure how close he and Stewart actually are though.

You know, it's been a while since I have dabbled in the hobby of card collecting.
I have many stashed away in the back of my closet.
I guess I am shocked to see how low some of those prices are next to some those names.
I loved going to the Walden flea when it was open to trade cards years ago.
It is certainly a fun and sometimes frustrating hobby to get involved in.

I get what you are saying about a big brother/mentor to help Kane grow up. Maybe Stewart is ready for that. Maybe Kane is misunderstood and the change of scenery is just what he needs. Might work great. But Buffalo doesn't have the dressing room leadership a Detroit, LA, Chicago has, and that would make me leery of making him a foundation of the team in such a delicate time for the Sabres franchise. IMO, you can ill afford a player who doesn't buy into the way Murray/Nolan are trying to steer things. Just look to your neighbors, the Leafs. How're Phaneuf and Kessel doing for them?

I can't believe the only channel on cable that has no sound for some reason is NBC. The only one I want to watch this afternoon. The Blues radio via internet is a full minute behind the TV. Play had already resumed after all replays on the Tarasenko goal before he even scored on radio.
