So, yeah, Voracek has pretty much done it year after year, at nearly the same rate as Kessel, while being a better all around player

So, Phil Kessel is great and worth $8mm per year, despite having just 3 goals and 6 points over his last 16 games, and Voracek isn't worth it, because he hasn't scored in a couple games.

Weird how anyone would notice a player's entire body of work. It's not like Kessel isn't top ten in goals and points every year or anything. No big deal.

Kessel scores within the late 30's in goals on an island by himself season after season and puts up points within the tops of the league every year. Voracek needs Giroux most nights if not every night. It's a little silly a subject to even try to debate.

Because soon to be 35-year-old centers who have been moved to the wing and are now on the fourth line never, ever retire

Kessel has had 5 seasons of scoring 30 or more goals compared to 0 seasons of 30 or more goals for Voracek. Kessel has had 4 seasons of 60 or more points, including 2 80 point seasons, compared to only one season of 60 or more points for Voracek. Looking at it in points per game is misleading.
