Not sure why in god's name Jagr would go back to Pittsburgh. When he left there it wasn't exactly on good terms ! Pittsburgh won't be going to the Stanley Cup this year, why bother... He'd be better off going to a Western Conference team

True, regarding when he left before......of course, that was so long ago the overwhelming majority of posters on this Board were in kindergarten when it happened.
Anyway, as a reminder, Jagr is the ultimate hired gun; he plays for whomever pays him the most, period......the precise reason he ended up in Philly in 2011, and why he's ended up in all the other places he's ended up at the beginning of each season ever since. He doesn't give a crap about anything except the kash.
Which means if he's traded to Pittsburgh.....and whether the Penguins go home in 4 games or win the Cup.....Yagr will obediently lace 'em up for as long as he's getting that bi-weekly direct deposit; at which time his Agent will be right back on the street looking for the highest number he can find for next season. |
