Surprised that this hasn't been discussed, but who would have to sit if Kimmo comes back?

Hopefully not L.Schenn. I don't want to see his trade value go down.

I'm fed up, I'd trade him, obviously has lost it.

If you keep playing him, and he played like he did last night, his trade value will most certainly go down.

He's been playing better lately. I seriously doubt Timonen is anywhere near game-shape, so I wouldn't be surprised to see 7 D for a few games when he first comes back.

Or trade him. Then sign him to a one day deal and have him wear his skates at the press conference.

Better lately? You are right, instead of being atrocious he has only been horrible.

Yeah...before last night he was playing pretty good. Something to do with Grossmann coming back?

The problem with Luke is that he will never be more than he already is. He lacks speed. He lacks any offense. He has an incredibly slow release. With the puck on his stick in his own end, dont even get me started. On top of it, he really isnt a very good defender.

I realize L Schenn and Coburn can never catch a break with some fans, but prior to last night he was fine.

This means so much coming from someone who stills thinks this team is a playoff caliber team.
- Daveflyers36

That is an incorrect description of my viewpoint on this team.

He was doing better than terrible- you are right- but fine for him is still not very good.

Yup, can't disagree with that. He's not going to reach his perceived ceiling. Still, if he plays within his abilities - and maybe takes a pay-cut - he's a good 4/5/6 guy.

And more importantly, other then the 4th line and Mason, the entire team was bad last night.

You do realize that L Schenn is a -24 for his career and it isn't like he is playing against the other teams top lines. So prior to last night, when has he been fine? And please include a stretch that is longer than 3 games.

Luke's fault. And Coburn's, cause they showed him on tv.

The arguement that can be made for Coburn is that he asked to more than he is capable of. Luke Schenn even on his best night is barely an average d-man and on most nights he falls short of "his best"
