no. youre missing the point completely.
it doesn't matter that you "don't believe" EK. you don't believe him because you've seen the results of what he claims as facts and inside sources.
you may take it as pure entertainment, but that doesn't change the fact that eklund passes himself off as something hes not. and uses plausible logic to invent rumours.
its pure entertainment because we know his rumors to be false.
this doesn't mean theres anything less disingenious about the claims he makes.
his blogs don't start;
"imagine if these guys made a trade"
or
"just spitballing here"
or even
"theres some rumors that e kane has worn out his welcome. heres some teams that I think could make reasonable trading partners...and why"
he does nothing of these sorts. representing a website and yourself as something your not isn't ok in any way shape or form. no matter how meaningless you feel the circumstances are.
However, he has recently changed his schtick abit to end his statements with question marks. which he assumes probably absolves himself of the myth he stated in the same sentence.
I think this is even more disingenuous....what exactly is he saying by doing this? if he doesn't know, then why is he saying it? just because theres some plausibility to it (santorelli and franson a package deal?) doesn't make it any more truthful than something that has no plausibility to it (Crosby and malkin for Gordon?)

If WPG trades Kane, wonder if they look back on it a few years from now like Boston does with Seguin. Probably a great 2nd line winger/decent 1st line winger in the right environment. EDM's probably not ideal, but I'd offer PIT's 1st+some if that'd get it done
