I've never been anywhere in Canada where people speak so negatively about their fellow countrymen.. I think there's a major misunderstanding among Albertans of how the world actually works.. They think everyone is like them, but unlike them are lazy and on welfare.

I know you hate robidas for some reason.. And sure, his on ice performance isn't what it used to be, but having a guy like that around to mentor the young kids back on D is worth the measly 3 million per season for a couple more years.

It's good to have vets around who have been there done that for the kids.

Even if they had 2-3 million in space, they could easily make deals. Someone like Dion, might have to eat a contract the other way seeing as so many teams are at it or at their internal budgets. If thats the case he isn't going anywhere. I think this might be why the owners minions are spewing all this trading of Santo and Winnick cuz thats all they can do... I'm all for moving anyone for future, but if they fail to rid themselves of at least 1 preferably 2 bad contracts before the draft this core will still be here...

I don't remember the guys name, but whoever it was that realized to plan for the width of the 401 so fart in advance through the city of TO was a genius... Edmonton has no good through route, the whitemud is okay, but its slower and can't get any wider, so as the city grows they are screwed. In TO's case theres just getting too many people now. The whole area is a mess and more and more people keep pouring in. All condos in TO and Mississauga, very few new commerce going in...
