The one I dated in college didn't shave anything. She was gorgeous though. We didn't date long.

I think if Hextall thought that Del Zotto was going to be a 20-25 minute a game player who will play as well as he has lately all season, he would've made some kind of move to sign him a lot earlier. He had interest, but wasn't willing to trade anybody to make room last Summer.
- MJL

Plus Timonen's future was in question heading into the offseason. Many believed he was going to retire until he signed.

Hextall said he had his eye on MDZ, but there was no cap space till Kimmo got sick.

Yup. It doesn't really matter when or how they find more value for dollar, they just have to keep doing it. Have to counterbalance all the current guys who are making more than they're worth.

I could see someone like Andrew Ladd doing that, Byfuglien doesn't strike me as a player that gets to enforce rules within a team. I don't think Byfuglien is really a guy to be setting examples for teammates.

I don't blame you, because I'd do the same thing if it were my friend.

That said, I'd probably overreact and throw a fit at the restaurant.

He was always that type of guy who looked for excuses not to tip well. He refused to tip that server, but I more than made up for his end. Whenever I see mayo being spread on a sandwich, I think of that moment. That sever deserved every dollar I had in my wallet

What was the dress code for that time? It seemed like a rather informal practice

Supposedly he's loved in the room there. Maybe stuff like this is why, lol.

I'm pretty sure it's suits on the road for almost all the teams if it isn't a league rule.

Bogo's contract is awful. No thanks.
- Feanor

Agreed 100%. He's young but he can't stay healthy and it seems to be tough for him to stay consistent when he does play. I only have interest in Dustin Byfuglien and Evander Kane but I don't wanna give anything up for them....

Maybe Ladd told Buff to do it since he's someone who could easily handle Kane in a physical altercation.

Remember when Fedoruk punched Pitkanen in practice?

They said the same thing about Seguin.....I really think it's worth a shot....huge risk for sure. The kid is a talent...just seems it's attitude or immaturity.

From what Ren Lavoie tweeted, Kane thought that the practice was at the team hotel and not at the arena. By the time he realized his mistake he had no time to change.

The team rule about dress at meetings is apparently to dress business casual or at least not in workout clothes, so his teammates confronted him and he said GFY.

If I'm Winnipeg, I proceed like this: Have an auction for 3-4 days. Tell everyone to submit their best offer and make sure they realize that you're not going to give him away and it will need to be a good return. If nobody meets your price, tell Kane to get his surgery and heal and wait to be traded. Then revisit it in the summer.

Funny, because the media in Winnipeg shreds Byfuglien and loves Ladd...Yet it was Byfuglien who dished out the tough love.

That's why you really can't read into the media's nonsense about bad attitudes and other nonsense. A guy can be a great team mate and be loved in the room, but if he's unwilling to feed the media, he gets a rep as a jerk.

The Winnipeg stuff amuses me because like they say, winning is the deodorant that covers all odors

Now that they've dropped five straight, all hell's broken loose in Manitoba -- that poop should've stayed in-house

I think they're better off just moving him now even if the offer isn't the greatest thing ever. No matter what, they should get something decent for him now. He's not worth keeping around if the team doesn't like him.

The point isn't that the Flyers should stop looking for bargain signings, and undrafted free agents such as Raffl and Bellemare. The point is that bargain shopping shouldn't be the main method of building the team, and more to the point, the defense. A post was made to trade Del Zotto and just do the same thing next season.
