In what way? he is a right shot who has some speed and works hard in the corners. I cant name many players like that on this team.

Not to mention has better stats than most of our players

What would you guys think of Neil joining the group, play 3rd or 4th line, cheaper alternative than Kassian probably same production.

Was saying this the other day. Apparently Neil doesn't want out of Ottawa. And I really like McQuaid's toughness too and he can clear guys out of the front of the net. Unfortunately last night wasn't a great game for him and makes you wonder about the whole matchup against speedy teams problem. At one point during the game I saw him pushing guys into Rask which I guess is unavoidable by times.
Lots of radio/internet chatter about Kane out of Winipeg today. Still don't see how you could fit him into this cap-strapped club.
2 character guys I'd like to see come from Edmonton would be Boyd Gordon and/or Matt Hendricks. Great 4th line additions. Doesn't solve the top line scoring winger problem, but is that even going to happen? Highly doubt it.

the guy has 28 fricken points. he absolutely does not have better stats than most of the team.

i'm sure he's a wonderful player but i just have a feeling they looking for more of an impactful upgrade than a 10 goal forward.
