Love the standard Leaf's fans' overvalue of their own players and crippling undervaluing of other teams' players.

Yeah cuz leaf fans are clearly the only one's to do this.

after yesterday's incident, I think Kane is trying to get himself back to Vancouver.

ACTIONS SPEAK AS LOUD AS WORDS: Evander Kane likes Vancouver. Check that. He loves Vancouver. You see him out and about in the offseason and you didn’t need a translator when the speedy winger was asked about his NHL career status. “Well, I think I’m a Winnipeg Jet right now,” the former Vancouver Giants standout told TSN 1040 in July. “We’ll see what happens.”

Fast forward to a stunning Tuesday development and you can’t help but feel that Kane played his trade-me trump card. On a day when the Jets desperately needed Kane to make a difference to end a four-game losing streak and cling to a wild-card playoff position, he held court with the media in the morning and was then a late healthy scratch for disciplinary reasons. It was for what occurred during the day — not very late the previous night – and with the winger’s family and friends in attendance at Rogers Arena, coach Paul Maurice did what he had to do to get to Kane. He scratched him.

In my perception Kane hates playing in Winnipeg, and is why he's doing everything he can to get traded. Also he has said he would love to play in Vancouver, so I think if he was traded here he just may put everything he has into being the player he can be.

Hi Mrs. Kane.

Tell your son to stop being a twat. Then someone might actually want to trade for him

that's as stupid as leaf fans thinking stamkos is coming to toronto.

IF kane is getting traded, it will be to whichever team gives the jets the best package. why would they do him any favors and trade him to his hometown team when he's been a douche for most of his career?

jets would rather trade him out east anyways. would love to see him in philly but their D is the biggest problem right now.

he needs to go to a team like detroit, where a top coach can help him mature and develop as a player. maurice is too soft. even boudreau would be great, kane-getz-perry but again likely wont happen being in the same conference as the jets.

I don't see Pitts as a fit trade wise. Jets are gonna want forwards. Pens just have defense that are young and decent

jets need a 2nd line C, not another 3rd line C. Scheifele isnt quiet cutting it up in the Top 6. They have a deep core right now and some great D prospects on the way.
I dont see any of those actually being Jets needs

No chance of Poulliot but I would up Depres for Doumalin.

I get the idea that Jets feel that Kane is a 1st line FW but right now I have to believe he is at one of the lowest he has been. He is playing on the 3rd line, is in a ton of trouble with a coach who is not going anywhere, and is disrupting team chemistry for a playoff bubble team. I can't seem them waiting and I can't see them getting better than a top 4 Dman, a top 9 C, and a pick.

That is what PITT offered for Kesler

Just what every team needs... Ego the size of his bank account and a swell team player. I hope you guys land him. You deserve him!
