Thing is Martin would have to submit his trade list. And that last part will make us upgrade add in another 3 1st rounders |

You know, that blog from Eklund was actually pretty good until the TML fans showed up. It's a shame, it actually had some good stuff going. |

No way Hanzal gets moved, in my opinion. - jmatchett383
i dont think so either. especially not with the assets the pens could move.

for this team, id take him over kane. |

Really all his blogs do is tell me where a player is not going to wind up. So, Kane to Pittsburgh... We are trading Kunitz and Sutter for him. How about that? LOL |

Value is heavily in favor off Pittsburgh here. Even if Pouliot becomes a beast, Pittsburgh probably got the better of the deal. |

My issue with Kane is he is valued as a top line winger and has only produced like a top 6 winger once in his career. He's currently playing on their 3rd line with less goals then Blake Comeau and makes $4 mil more. He could potentially net 30 here but if you compare his numbers with James Neal's prior to coming to Pittsburgh Neal was a much better goal scorer. Kane is a good player and I'd love to have him but if the conversation starts with Maatta, Kap, or Pouliot Ill pass. Earlier this season I would have considered a big package for him but after really looking at it I was crazy |

Pittsburgh gets the better of the deal right now (cap space be damned), but Philly gets the possibility of a better return in the long-run, which is what both teams need right now. |

The same thing that Pittsburgh can offer with the 3rd. |

Kane offers more than just offensive production, though. Neal was pretty one-dimensional for all his size/strength. |

It would also put Pittsburgh back into the top 40 in a deep draft. |
