Pathetic loss to a team that played last night.
- Charlie21

you can't lose to a team that's played 3 games in 4 nights...

time to get Kessel from Toronto for the top line....make them include Reimer in the deal....

It may be time to make a move. Don't know which way they should go with it, but they need a shakeup of sorts.

I'm still waiting for the first blog to really rip into Cappy. Hopefully that's tomorrow but I'm not counting on it.
- ses111

honestly Cappy leaves a lot to be desired but the players on the ice lost that game.....starting with JT who felt it best to try to deke around 3 players every time he tried to cross the blue line....

I hope this isn't the start of their annual swoon...

The team sucked but the line combinations to me are pretty stupid.

agree but they are still NHL players....little effort goes a long way...the continuous changing of the lines is what makes me crazy...

You can lose to 8 year olds if you don't play a structured defensive system.

He does not talk about goalies and now the PK.

Well, Halak identified the PK as a major problem for the Isles. Maybe Cappy needs to listen to his players.

I wonder how many more we'd have to lose to get capuano fired.

Maybe the GM should listen to us regarding the coach? I just wish there were two very good coaches available this offseason. The Caps and Preds are having fine seasons. I wonder how they managed it?

I don't see it happening this season. If we stumble into the playoffs and lose in the first round, I would hope that he's gone before next season.

Cappy is safe. The KO injury will be the excuse.

I thought JT looked a little slow tonight. Then I checked the TOI. Would you believe JT led all Islander skaters in TOI? Nearly 24 minutes! More than even Boychuk or any other d-man. No wonder JT looked slow at times.

I have said Cap's going to be a huge reason you guys are going to be unsuccessful in the playoffs, and have been chastised for it.

But i guess as long as you guys realize it, its ok.

no one here has wanted capuano coaching the team for the last year and a half at a minimum. Unfortunately we don't get a say.

The isles look stuck in the mud. No cohesion. Passing is off, they're playing very choppy with no flow to their game. They look like they are completely out of sync.

Lines are changing every game. Hard to get any rhythm when you have different linemates every night. But seriously, we should have got at least a point here, but the PK sucks.

It goes back to Cappy not being able to coach with injuries. Everything has to be perfect or he is clueless.
