OK, first, let’s be honest here…Strait wasn’t some kind of miracle worker back there, or anything close to a significant factor. He did an admirable job at what he’s supposed to do this season…filling in on the bottom pair for an injury. The injury’s over, though, and Vis certainly brings more to the table. He plays that third-pair D role, which shouldn’t be critical to Ws and Ls no matter if it’s Strait or Vis there, but he also has value on the power play (which could use any and all options) and makes better first passes out of the zone to get the rush going. Personally, I don’t take that skill set out of the lineup just because Strait didn’t get turned around like usual for a couple of games. I play the odds that Vis’ obviously higher skill set leads to better things than having Strait in there.

in addition to strait playing better...the isles are playing a dirty flyers team (last game vs the flyers was chippy) this change could be as much preventative on top of strait>vis

I think I'm going to go after the IS350 next. It will be a nice mix between the CT200h I currently drive and the BMW M235i I drove for a couple months.

Not good timing with him being on the fence with surgery. Jets aren't going to get much for the guy.

if the flyers play chippy tonight maybe it'll snap the isles out of the passive uninspired hockey they played against detroit and florida. a win tonight and against boston would be a nice bounce back.

Well I leased both at the same time. I've got the CT200h for another year and a half but that thing has a 0-60 of like 9 seconds. So I went ahead and transferred the BMW lease from someone trying to get out of it with 2 months left to get a faster car for a while. 0-60 in under 4.5 seconds

im all for chippy games, but if it gets chippy id prefer strait playing than a guaranteed injury to lubo....let him fully recover before he gets involved in the physical games.
