When someone compares Zack Kassian to PEB, it's pretty clear they don't have a good grasp on the type of players that Kassian is. Zack Kassian is basically a bigger Steve Downie. My only concern would be him pulling a Zac Rinaldo on a player.

When someone mentions Kassian this is all I think of.

Shortly after joining Windsor, he was given a 20-game suspension from the league for his hit to the head of Barrie Colts forward Matt Kennedy during a game in January 2010.

And then I think "no thanks."

I really thought you guys were going to get Kessler this past off season. He has really turned out to be probably the best off season pick by any team this year.

Agreed.

If he's a "bigger Steve Downie", I don't necessarily think that's a good thing.

Just chiming in to say, "I agree." Let's get away from pests & goons and concentrate on hockey players. "Settle it on the scoreboard," is my favorite hockey slogan nowadays.
