My kid already hit me up for the Claude Giroux lego when we were at the last Flyers game. You can get them at the fan shop facing Lincoln Financial Field.
- johndewar

Yeah I've seen them there plus online obviously but it really blew my mind that they didn't have them at a store dedicated to the NHL given they had a mascot that no one knows. I did get a little Flyers puck though and they had all the Mitchell and Ness retro jerseys (Lindros, Clarke, Hextall, Parent).

I saw St.Louis lost Shattenkirk for a little. I wonder what the interest from a playoff team or bubble team would be on Kimmo. Teams that come to mind: TB, St. Louis, Washington, LA, Detriot. Maybe the Wild and Montreal
- J35Bacher

Maybe in the future, but I don't think there would be much interest now.

It feels like it's been a month since the Flyers played
- Jsaquella

Because they've won 4 straight, they're not being ripped & dissected to bits. That's in a year where they're closer to the cellar than the playoffs.

Playoff year & 1-game "losing streak" going into a break? Every mechanic gives his/her diagnosis as to what's wrong with the team.

YMMV.

It's only been a few days since the beats all went buck wild w/ the news, right?

A 'few days' left on his scrip, a few days to confirm the clots are cleared, and a few more to formulate and approve a strategy for playing around his treatments... wouldn't be surprised if we don't hear a peep for another couple of weeks.

Would a Read for Kassian straight up trade too much or little?

I don't know if it is. was just curious. Both guys are struggling.

I like Kassian. He's 23 and has shown signs of offensive ability in his young career. However, he's been scratched in a few games this season. I'd buy low on him but would definitely take him.

Bro, I'd hate to tell you this, but Kassian is not a good player. He's like a PEB, but more physical and worse defensively.

Zach Kassian? Dude has done nothing at the NHL level worth writing home about. Matt Read has two 20+ goal goal seasons and averages over 20 goals and 40 points per 82 games. He also plays well above average defensively against opponents' top lines.

In short, I would not even consider this deal.

Not sure VAN would be interested in Read.

(And the Flyers had better not be interested in Kassian, lol)

I think it's more than slightly. Lol. I would say he's a good 4th liner or below average 3rd liner. Read is having a horrible season and is still outscoring Kassian.

It wasn't meant as a total insult, lol. After all, Sestito did score 40+ goals for Plymouth in his D+1 year.
