The guy worked his ass off, did everything he was told to do over the summer, and he still got demoted. If that happens after another offseason, my guess is that he'd start to wonder if he was ever realistically part of this team's plan to begin with. Not that I disagreed with him being sent to Rochester, but if I'm the player, and I put that kind of effort in two years in a row, and still didn't get rewarded for it, I'm probably considering other options. - buffalofan19
His resume is empty. He has no bargaining power. This is his first full season in Rochester. I highly, highly doubt he's going anywhere. I'm more than certain he and Armia know exactly where they stand. They're good players that clearly are not ready for the NHL yet. At 20 years old, who cares. They'll all have their time with the GM in the summer or fall and will keep them if he wants them in the organization for a while or trade them if he doesn't or if they can be used to bring back stronger assets. They won't be thrown away, I can guarantee that much.

No players like him are annoying they have all the talent in the world and just waste it and are ok with being just " ok " to "good" when you could be great
if he went training with gray roberts he could be the next todd bertuzzi etc ..

How the Hell would the Sabres be expected to accept a trade for Myers ++ for ROR who's contract will be up after next year? That is a preposterous offer even if it is two bags of pucks + Myers.
