The 5 pieces you keep in the rebuild are Rielly, Kadri, one of the Goalies (Likely Bernier), JVR and either Kessel or Gardiner.

I know Gardiner gets ripped on a lot, but I can't imagine getting anything worthwhile back. Kessel will only be traded for a deal like Nash ended up going to NYR in. Yeah, the talk of Jones + 1st has happened a lot in here. You're more likely to see something like;

1st, Josi, salary, b-level prospect (Leafs should aim hard at Kamanev as a big power center, or Doughtry as a nice defensive piece going forward). Salary would be someone like Stalberg. Leafs likely add a prospect like Finn and or/ 4th or later picks.

Yea, Kozun probably doesn't have the skill to make up for his size. He's got heart, plays with energy, but probably won't make the NHL. Lievo will be a 2nd/3rd liner
