Glad to hear it's getting better.
- Jsaquella

She came to the gym with me. We lightly worked on her back. Basically, started rehabbing it.

She's in uncharted waters, which- if you think about it, is upsetting. But she's getting there

Eventually, she'll feel normal...

Just to note, there was also 21 shot attempts against when he was on the ice.
- MJL

They were -20 as a team in attempts for the night.... in the context of that, being 21/21 even up is pretty darned good.

It would have been nice to get a better return for him. Luke Schenn has had a pretty good run of late, but he's still a 4-5 guy at best. A guy that can score like JvR, despite his shortcomings, should be worth more
- Jsaquella

Shoddy return on asset, no doubt.

I would have gone Luke Schenn, Straka or even Reimer over Kessel

leafs were checking the flyers so tight, G and Jake had very little room out there

the leafs players looked so miserable playing that style, but it is effective

put me to sleep watching the replay on dvr about midway through the 2nd period though

Shots were lopsided, but War On Ice has the Flyers out chancing the Leafs. We'll get a better idea of everything when BSH releases their data from last night.

I thought the Leafs had more grade A chances last night and outplayed the Flyers from about the 10 minute mark of the first period on. Flyers won because Mason was really good.

Seems like he could just as easily be a guy everybody wonders how he went that high, as a guy everybody wonders how he went that low.

Some just see what is written and haven't spent time watching. His team plays a D first system which in itself will limit offensive chances.

Add in the teams top 3 players out that due to injuries so that forces lines to be juggled & inexperience to be forced into the lineup.

Because he's the best left he's not always playing his power forward spot he's playing the point on most power plays.

Obviously team Canada felt he was skilled and good enough to make the team & as the WJC went on he changed lines and got more ice time.

His skill set will translate to the next level in my eyes.

Thomas Greiss, who's backing up MAF today, just got called for too many men on the ice. Not sure how that's possible.

Maybe they meant too much man on the ice:

He could always score. But he's a lot more like old Ovechkin this season. Being physical, hitting more, bulling guys over. Trotz seems to have unlocked his passion a bit, he's having fun again.

Back to LW, buying into the system. My fantasy team is loving the change.

Watched 3 of his games at the WJC, and have watched about 9 of his games with Kingston this season.

I think he'll be a very solid player, but I have doubts he'll be much more than a good player. He's skilled, but the lack of production is a concern. Probably will end up as a more well rounded JvR.

- Jsaquella

Not putting up a ppg pace in junior when he has an NHL frame already is concerning

Flyers were -18 actually. Don't get me wrong, I think Del Zotto played a pretty strong game, and has been playing well for a while now. If we want to talk shot differential, the Flyers got drastically outplayed in that aspect from the 2nd period on. Macdonald was the best Flyers defenseman in terms of shot differential in last night's game, and he has been one of the best for quite a while.
