would probably have to be the st. louis 1st. He's a former 1st rounder with a ton of upside. I can't see them letting him go

It's the kind of player Murray was talking about. A talent further along from a team that is cap strapped.

I want Konecny, Zacha, or one of those late 1sts packaged for an NHL player

Would he count though? Very little nhl experience, you'd think he'd look for someone with some nhl time under his belt.

IMO he could add a younger player like Teravainen, and an older player like Sharp for example.

Both from the Hawks is obviously a long shot but those types I see him getting

I can see the appeal but I don't think that's his primary interest is in either type of player. I wouldn't be shocked to see him go for either guy but I think he'll be looking for someone who can help now and 4 or 5 years from now (i know he's the forbidden name but I'll say O'Reilly as an example).

And even that wouldn't do it. I love Deslauries but there is no way he brings back even a medium prospect so I can't see trading him.

We traded two 2nds and McNabb for a good prospect and Delauriers. He has some value

While I don't doubt that we wanted Deslauries it was Fasching that was the key piece in that deal. Deslauries was not far from being a career AHLer. He might still be.

I know Fasching was the main piece but the point was Delauriers wasn't just a throw in. Murray has said he was a guy that they wanted.

I'm not one to over rate guys who throw punches and hit people, but I can imagine Delauriers being a great cheap option for a cup contenders bottom six.

Him plus a 2nd could land a nice prospect IMO

I think we're kind of saying the same thing. I guess it depends on what a "nice prospect" would be. I wouldn't move him unless it was something I really liked.

I can't imagine that the Hawks - and I'm just using this example - would give up a top prospect for a guy (and I like Deslauriers, trust me) that is basically a 4th liner.

Again, I like the player. I just think he tops out at a 10-12 goal, agitating forward with great wheels.

If we traded someone like Armia for a 4th liner, I'd want to punch Murray.

I think Kassian's hands are way better. He is a really slick passer.

You can tell with his 4 assists this season.

I actually didn't know his stats.

Watch the kid though. He really has soft hands for being such a beast. I'm very surprised that's all he has.

Have an Eric Carr and Bruce Kulick when I met them at the Hyatt in downtown Buffalo.

Have a Paul Stanley from when I had lunch with him during their promotional tour of the Kiss My Ass album. An hour of my life I will never forget.

Very Cool, ive met them a couple times, Gene by himself 3 times.
