classic case of a coach outsmarting himself. yes everyone "knew" it was going to Lynch but getting 1 yard when you're the best and everyone knows what you're doing still isn't that difficult. and even still, if you're going to pass on second down with 2 more chances available to you, how do you put the ball in such a tight spot? it made no sense on any level.
